Freedom Finance started back in 1983 as Wilmslow Financial Services and has since grown substantially to become one of the largest UK Master Loan Brokerages. They changed their name to Freedom Finance in 2001 as part of a rebranding exercise prior to selling a stake in the company to US investors. The Freedom Group also includes operations in Spain, Sweden and Ireland. They acquired Mortgage Next was is a regulated mortgage network for appointed representatives. Freedom work with a large number of lending partners including FirstPlus, Blackhorse, First National and Welcome Finance. They also have partnerships with The AA, Bradford and Bingley and Direct Line. In 2005 the company was named 49th best company to work for in the the Sunday Times Top 100.
